My inspiration comes from the colours, patterns and textures in nature. These designs are based on my photographs of botanical details captured around various gardens. Features such as veins, shadows and textured surfaces, when magnified, reveal a vast array of patterns that provide the source for these designs. Drawing on my skills as a graphic designer and a photographer, I have created unique designs that are applied to various surfaces.

I graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2004 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. I majored in Graphic Design which enhanced my design skills. I also completed a second major in Photography, which I credit for inspiring me to explore new elements of design.

My designs have been applied to a range of products including greeting cards, earrings, purses, handbags and ceramic tiles. I print all my fabric and ceramic tiles using my own equipment. My work features in local galleries and gift shops in Tasmania and interstate, and more recently at the Melbourne Design Market.
